addicts

The launch of The Recovery Network TV Channel is planned for the first quarter of 2008. The channel will be a digital satellite broadcast available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We will broadcast a wide range of programs intended to educate, promote and maintain recovery. Participation by the viewer will play a key part in many of the programmes via telephone, email or web cam. Personal anonymity will be offered if required.

For the first time in the UK our channel will provide viewers with the opportunity to interact with our programmes, a number of which will be live and will invite the studio audience and viewers at home to participate whether they are seeking help and support or offering their own experience to help others. Trained therapists will be on hand to offer support and guidance to you.

addicts

An overwhelming amount of destruction is bestowed upon families and loved ones who have to face the ripple effects of living with an addict. These are the people who are often overlooked as the victims of this crippling illness … until now. The Recovery Network will focus particular programmes on supporting and educating families that are being impacted by addiction. Family members, friends and loved ones will now have the opportunity to share experiences with others who find themselves in the same situation. They will also be able to participate in programmes in the studio, over the phone (anonymously), by email or web cam and seek help, support and guidance from our team. We will provide a 24 hour telephone help line to allow you to discuss anything one to one with a trained operator, in confidence.
